In April of 2018, the Ministry of Community Development Culture and Arts ran a nationwide design competition for the CARIFESTA XIV Logo. There were 33 submissions, Kevin Greaux emerged the winner of the Competition.
Take the colourful character of the Pierrot Grenade and the energy of the Moko Jumbie and we have the perfect synergy of elements representing the Caribbean. Where culture meets expression and where passion connects with creativity, we have the convergence and the official CARIFESTA XIV mascot, Kierrót (pronounced “Kay-roe”), comes to life. The movement and beauty of this icon will be on display during the Caribbean’s premiere Arts festival CARIFESTA XIV.
Kevin Greaux is the managing director of his own design company, Green Mangeaux Concepts. Fascinated with the ‘behind-the-scenes’ production process of media and advertising, and having an Uncle as a Creative Director fuelled his curiosity and interest in the field from a young age. As such his passion for the Arts has created opportunities for him as a cameraman, audio/visual editor and finally led him to the field of graphic design for the past 15 years.
Over the years, he has created branding and promotional material for some of the country’s top corporate and government entities, as well as national cultural events. This wide spectrum of clientele has given him the opportunity to work with some of the region’s finest entrepreneurs and creative minds. Today, he continues to passionately create the best possible media, branding and promotional solutions for his clients.
